Well just listening to the previous song had me half inventing an AU right there. Not a particularly happy one though.
Instead of Joker pulling the trigger on Jason all those years ago, the responsibility instead rests on Tim’s shoulders. Unknowing that Tim was actually responsible for Jason’s death, Bruce makes him Robin and the continuity continues as per usual until Jason returns and blackmails and extorts Tim, threatening to expose his secret and ruin the comfortable life of Robin he’s built up for himself.
Undecided as to if Tim’s involvement was accidental or intentional. Either option could make for a dark little fic right?
